Lab transparency

Certificates of Analysis — every batch, verified.

Third-party lab testing is the only real quality check in this industry. Every Chime & Chill product ships with a COA from a licensed New York laboratory confirming Non-Detect THC, cannabinoid profile, and contaminant screening.

Why COAs matter for your buyers and your pharmacy shelf

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a third-party lab report that verifies exactly what is in a product — cannabinoid content, terpene profile, and screens for pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbials. For a buyer, a COA is the document that makes a purchasing decision defensible. For a pharmacist, it is the due-diligence record on file when a patient asks a question. For a budtender, it is the proof they hand to a skeptical customer.

Chime & Chill tests every product batch with licensed New York state labs — currently Green Analytics NY and Kaycha Labs NY. Every COA shows THC: Non-Detect — the same result, batch after batch. That consistency is the foundation of the line.

Key things our COAs confirm:

  • Non-Detect THC — meets the federal <0.3% threshold; non-psychoactive, pharmacy-shelf eligible, ships to all 50 states
  • Cannabinoid profile — CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, CBT, CBDv, or THCv per product, as labeled
  • Contaminant screens — pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, microbial contaminants
  • Batch traceability — each COA is linked to a specific production batch with date and lab accreditation number

How to read a COA — a quick guide for your staff

Third-party lab reports are the only real quality check in this industry, and most people have never opened one. Here's what to look for in a Chime & Chill COA:

  • Lab accreditation. Every COA should be issued by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory. Green Analytics NY and Kaycha Labs NY both hold this accreditation in New York state.
  • THC result. Look for "Non-Detect" or "ND" next to Δ9-THC. This is the only result that puts the product below the federal <0.3% threshold — and below any meaningful detection limit.
  • Cannabinoid panel. Confirms the labeled cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN, etc.) are present in the amounts claimed. Cross-reference against the product label.
  • Contaminant screens. Pesticides, heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium), residual solvents, and microbial tests should all appear — and should all show "Non-Detect" or "Pass."
  • Batch number and date. The batch number on the COA should match the batch code on the product packaging. If they don't match, ask for the right document.

If a brand can't show you a current COA, that's a red flag. If the COA has no QR code linking to the lab's portal, treat it with caution. Ours link directly.
